Privacy Policy
Effective: October 28, 2026 · SHUKCHIC pre-launch pilot
This notice explains how SHUKCHIC uses personal information when you browse our website, submit an item for resale, communicate with us, sign a consignment agreement, or authorize an eBay selling integration. SHUKCHIC is an independent resale and consignment service, not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
Information we collect
- Consignment submissions: your name, email, contact details you provide, descriptions of the items, item photos and review/receiving notes.
- Agreements and communications: electronic signatures, agreement audit information, messages, decisions and shipping instructions.
- Seller-authorized eBay data: if an account owner authorizes our eBay integration, permitted seller account identifiers, listings, orders, shipping, fees, refunds and customer information as necessary for that integration. This integration is not enabled during the current pilot.
- Site operations: limited technical logs, session cookies for the private staff area and information required for website security and troubleshooting.
Why we use information
We use information to evaluate items, contact consignors about approval or rejection, obtain agreement signatures, track merchandise, prepare resale listings, reconcile completed transactions, handle shipping, refunds and disputes, determine consignor proceeds, provide support, prevent fraud and comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
When information is shared
We may share necessary data with service providers that host and operate SHUKCHIC, deliver email, support electronic agreements and payments, or fulfill shipping. Items published to eBay may be visible publicly, and eBay may receive listing, order and shipping information under its own policies. We do not use eBay seller OAuth credentials to obtain passwords or to access information outside the authorized permissions.
Retention and deletion
We retain records while needed to administer an item, payment, customer support or legitimate legal, tax and fraud-prevention responsibilities. You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations. When SHUKCHIC receives and verifies an eBay Marketplace Account Deletion request, eBay-sourced personal information associated with that account is erased or irreversibly de-identified according to the integration's deletion controls.
Security
We use access controls, signed staff sessions and protected file storage. No online service can guarantee complete security. Do not submit payment card numbers, banking passwords or eBay account passwords through the item submission form.
Your choices
You can decline optional eBay authorization without providing your eBay password to SHUKCHIC. You may contact us about account information or consignment records and ask to correct inaccurate data. Our site is not intended for submissions by children under 18.

Updates
We may revise this notice as the resale service, payment workflow and eBay connection launch. Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. This pre-launch policy will also be reviewed before accepting live consignments.
