Frequently asked questions.
Where will my items be sold?
SHUKCHIC uses eBay as its initial resale marketplace. Once approved, signed for consignment and physically verified, eligible items are listed through our designated seller account. SHUKCHIC is an independent service, not sponsored, affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
Does the first assessment cost anything?
No. Submitting photos for the initial review is free. Any consignment fees, shipping responsibilities or other terms will be disclosed before you agree to proceed.
Should I ship an item immediately?
No. Do not ship any item until SHUKCHIC accepts it for further evaluation and you receive and agree to shipping and consignment instructions.
How much do I earn from a sale?
Our proposed pilot schedule gives you 60% of net sale proceeds for items selling for $100–$499, 70% for $500–$999, and 80% for $1,000+. Net proceeds are calculated after disclosed marketplace fees and eligible transaction-specific shipping costs. Your exact terms will be presented for review before shipment.
When do I get paid?
For a completed sale, payout is normally scheduled at least 30 days after confirmed buyer delivery, once funds have cleared and no return, chargeback or marketplace dispute remains unresolved. We provide a settlement breakdown.
Who pays shipping and returns?
You pay to ship approved items to SHUKCHIC and to have unsold merchandise returned. SHUKCHIC handles shipping to buyers and marketplace returns as seller of record. Eligible, documented shipping and return costs may affect your net sale proceeds under the agreed terms. SHUKCHIC remains responsible for obligations imposed by marketplace policies and law.
How long will you list my item?
The proposed minimum consignment period is 90 days from the first live listing. After that, we'll discuss renewal, repricing, or return. Do not send anything until the final consignment terms are signed and shipping is authorized.
Do you authenticate every designer item?
We assess condition and provenance during review. Additional independent authentication may be required for certain brands and categories before resale.
